  • How many hotels are there in the resort? What features do they have?
    The Galzignano Resort Terme & Golf includes 3 four stars hotels : the moderno ed eco-friendly Radisson Blu Majestic, the Hotel Sporting and the Hotel Splendid, both in a more traditionl and thermal style. The Majestic and the Splendid share the indoor and outdoor pools, the Restaurant and the spa, while the Sporting has its own indoor and outdoor pools, Restaurant and spa.

  • What time is check in/out?
    You can check-in anytime after 3 PM (15.00) Check-out is before 12 PM

  • Will it be possible to check in early or check out late?
    Its possible to arrange an early check-in depending on hotel's availability. 

  • Will there be a luggage storage at the hotel in case of early arrival or late departure?
    Yes, the hotel is equipped withe a free of charge luggage storage.

  • Will there be a garage or a parking lot? How much will it cost?
    The hotel has an outdoor free of charge  parking lot.

  • Are pets permitted in your hotel? Which size? Will there apply an overcharge?
    We accept,on request and subject to availability, small and medium sized animals up to 25 kg, It is allowed one pet per room. It is to be applied a € 18,00 overcharge per day to pay at the hotel's reception and there will be a supplementery charge for food request .   • Will there be children's animation? For what age? Which activities will be provided?
    Children's animation is for children from 4 years of age; It features many activities like games, laboratories and music inside our Miniclub. The service is available during high season and holidays.

  • Do you organize tours or excursions?
    Yes. The hotel is equipped with a local expert exclusively dedicated to tours and excursions.

  • Which services are included in BAR base rate in B&B ?
    Rates include overnight stay, buffet breakfast, bathrobe and towel, indoor and outdoor pools use, sauna and thermal cave access in Physiosal wellness center, VAT and staff service. Tourist tax is not included.
ROOMS
  • How many rooms has the hotel?
    281 rooms. 88 rooms at Splendid, 96 at Sporting and 97 at Majestic.

  • Are there any rooms with balcony or terrace?
    All 287 rooms are equipped with a balcony or a terrace.

  • Are there rooms with parquet?
    All the rooms at Majestic come with parquet. The rooms at Sporting and Splendid come with carpeting.

  • Are the bathrooms equipped with showers or bathtubs?
    Most part of the rooms at Majestic come with a comfortable shower. Some of them have a bathtub too. At Sporting and Splendid the majority of the rooms are equipped with a bathtub. You can report your specific needs at reservation.

  • Are there familiy rooms or connecting rooms?
    The Sporting comes with 18 connecting rooms, which are particularly suited to family with children. The Majestic has 2 connecting rooms per floor and suites with separate compartments which also are appropriate to family with children.

  • Are baby cots available at your hotel? Will they be charged?
    Free baby cots, which are suitable for infants under 2 years of age are available at the hotel, subject to availability .

  • What is the maximum number of guests allowed in a room? 
    From Junior Suite on it is possible to accomodate up to 4 adults. In Standard and Superior category it's not possible to add any beds. 

  • Do you have any rooms suited for people with disabilities?
    Yes, The hotel has 5 rooms suited for people with disabilities. For more information please contact the reservation office at 049 919 5665.

  • Is smoking permitted in your hotel?
    No, smoking is not permitted in the hotel rooms.

  • Does the rooms have air conditioned?
    Yes, all the rooms have air conditioned.

  • Will I be able to tune in to internatinal broadcasts (Satellite TV) or Sky channels?

CATERING
  • How many restaurants has the hotel?

    The Resort has two restaurants, the Terra Restaurant at the Sporting Hotel and the Aqua Restaurant at the Majestic Hotel. There are also the Bistrot degli Ulivi at the Hotel Majestic for light and quick lunches by the pool, the Pool Bar located inside the Hotel Sporting in the covered part of the beautiful pool that surrounds the structure. An environment where you can spend moments of pleasure and relaxation, between a drink and a good book and the Gin Bar located on the ground floor of Hotel Sporting where gin lovers can enjoy their favourite gin. We offer the largest collection of gin in the Veneto region, with over 50 gins, classic cocktails and martinis.

  • What is the restaurant opening hours?
    Both restaurants serve lunch from 12.30 PM to 2.30 PM and dinner from 7.30 PM to 9.30 PM.

  • At what time is breakfast served?
    Both restaurants serve breakfast from 7 AM to 10.30 AM.

  • Is breakfast included in the price?
    Yes, breakfast is always included in the room rate.

  • Is restaurant buffet or à la carte? What kind of catering will it offer?
    Both. Majestic's Restaurant offers an international and elegant cuisine with particular attention to a detailed presentation, to seasonalities and to food's preservation. The kitchen is under the supervision of star-chef Andrea Ribaldone. Sporting's Restaurant offers a genuine cuisine of italian and local flavours, traditionally presented in all of their freshness.

  • Are beverages included in half or full pension?
    Beverages are never included in both half or full pension.

  • Does the hotel offer celiacs friendly menu?
    On request, the hotel offers a celiacs friendly menu. Please report your needs at reservation.

  • Does the hotel offer vegetarian or vegan menu?
    On request, the hotel offers vegetarian or vegan menu. Please report your needs at reservation.

  • Does the hotel offer children menu?
    On request, the hotel offers children menu. Please report your needs at reservation.

  • Are children high chairs available in the restaurant?
    Yes, both restaurants have free of charge children high chairs.

  • Do I have to have my meals in my hotel's restaurant or can I go to another one?
    It is not mandatory to have dinner at your hotel'srestaurant. 
WELLNESS
  • Can I access the wellness center? How much does it cost?
    Entrance at wellness center is included for hotel's guests but it is open to anybody at the price of 20 € for the full day, 15  € for the  afternoon. (From 2 PM to 6 PM).

  • What are the opening hours?
    The wellness center is open from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 2 PM to 6 PM (Dec 25th closed - Jan 1st open from 2 PM).

  • Is Spa kit included? What do I have to bring to the wellness center?
    We provide for beach towels for relax zone and gym towels for the gym for both internal and external guests. Bathrobe and shower shoes should be bringed from home.
    Wellness route has a relax zone with: sauna - emotional showers sweat cave - jacuzzi - relax room with atni-stress sunbeds. Suggested Time:2 hours.

  • What is wellness route? What does it offer? What is its duration?

    The route is not suited for expecting ladies.

  • Can I access the wellness center if I am not a hotel guest?
    The wellness center is open to anybody at the price of 15 €  for half a day in one of the two available time slots.  

  • Do I have to book my access to the wellness center?
    Only those who are not hotel's guest have to book to access the wellness center.

  • Is it possible to exclusively book the Spa for parties or events?
    No, it is not.

  • How old do I have to be in order to access the wellness center?
    Minors have to be accompanied. There is not a minumum age to access the wellness center. For further information feel free to contact the wellness center at 049 9195800. 

  • Do minors have to be accompanied on order to access the center?
    Minors have to be accompanied by an adult.

  • Can I book couple treatments?
    Yes, some massages on the price list are for couples.

  • Is it possible to book a day use room?

POOL

Galzignano Resort has a 5 swimming pools, 3 at Hotel Majestic (indoor, outdoor and sporting pool) and 2 at Hotel Sporting (indoor and outdoor pool). At Hotel Majestic there is also a sweat grotto, while at Hotel Sporting there is a sweat grotto and sauna. 

  • Is access to the pools also allowed to external guests?
    There is an entrance fee for external guests. The cost is 35€ for the whole day, 25€ for the afternoon (from 14.00 to 20.00).
  • What does access to the pools include? 
    Access to the pools includes a pool towel, sunbed, parasol and access to the sweat grotto and sauna. 

  • What is the temperature of the thermal water in the pools? 
    The water temperature in our thermal pools is about 37 degrees. 
  • Is it possible to book a day use room?
    Yes, subject to availability, it is possible to book a day use room. For further information, please contact the booking office directly on 049 919 5500.
SPA
  • What properties have your thermal waters?
    The thermal waters are, hyperthermal bromo-iodine-salt type; they have analgesic and muscle relaxant properties. Their composition allows mud maturation, ideal for curative treatments.

  • What properties have your mud?
    Galzignano's thermal mud slows cartilage degeneration and stimulates endorphins production. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic and muscle relaxant properties.

  • Where does the mud come from?
    It comes from a clay which is extracted from two lakes located in the Colli Euganei and brought to maturation in special containers in the hotels. Here it is kept in thermal water immersion for 2 months minimum absorbing all its therapeutic properties and becoming mud, which is eventually used in treatments.

  • What pathologies does it cure?
    Galzignano's mud is recommended for bone pathologies (arthrosis, osteoporosis), joints (tendinitis, ankylosing), rheumatic diseases and beauty treatments, expecially body treatments. The thermal water cures by inhalation: otitis , rhinitis, sinusitis, pharyngitis, chronic bronchitis.

  • Are there any contraindication to the mud?
    Mud's contraindication consist in pressure losses due to the application temperature,  during curative cycle, aching joints, minor sleep disturbance.

  • Is the spa in agreement with National Health Service? 
    Yes it is. The attending doctor's request letter includes: spa access medical examination, mud  and bath therapy(12 muds - 12 baths).

  • What kind of treatments are provided by the spa?
    Our spa provides, among others, mud and healing baths, inhalation treatments, tension-relieving and relaxing massages, face and body beauty treatments.

  • Why do I have to undergo medical examination prior to access spa services?
    The medical examination serves to exclude any pathology for which the mud could be contraindicated. It also serves to customise  your therapy.

  • What the medical examination consist of?
    It consist of medical history analysis of current pathology and cures prescription.

  • Do I have to book my access to the spa?
    Yes, it is requested a reservation in order to access the spa.

  • Is the spa open during winter?
    Yes, it is open all year round. It is closed only on: Dec-25th, Jan-1st and Easter Sunday).

  • Is it possible to access the spa for those who are not staying in the hotel?
    Yes it is. However a medical examination is mandatory to access mud treatments.

  • Where is the spa?
    The spa is inside the facility.

  • What are spa opening hours?
    The spa is open from 6 AM to 1 PM from Monday to Saturday. The swimming pools are open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM.

  • Is the spa open in the evening?
    The spa is open from 6 AM to 1 PM from Monday to Saturday. The swimming pools are open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM. In some occasions the swimming pools will open in the evening.

  • When would it be the best moment to undergo a mud-therapy?
    Any moment is recommended to undergo mud-therapy.

  • What are spa pools opening hours? What are the prices?
    The swimming pools are open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM. Entrance is included in the room rate for the hotel's guests, while for the others the price is 30 € for full day and 20 € for the afternoon (from 2 PM).

  • What temperature are the spa pools?
    The temperature is about 34°C.

  • Are pools open on Monday to external people? Are there discounts for children?
    The swimming pools are open every day from 8 AM to 8 PM. The price is 30 € for full day and 20 € for the afternoon (from 2 PM). There are no discounts for children. For more information please contact the reservation office.

  • Can I access the outdoor pool from the hotel? 
    Yes, the indoor and outdoor pools are connecting.

  • Will I have to wear a swim cap?
    No, you will not. 

  • Is the spa kit available?
    We provide for beach towels. Bathrobe and shower shoes should be bringed from home. It is possible to rent a bathrobe for 5 €.

  • Are there any age limits?
    There are not age limit. We suggest brief baths (15-20 min; 10 min for children under 10 years of age) followed by breaks in order for the children to rest and hydrate.

  • Are there any contraindication for expecting ladies?
    While there are no contraindications for the spa pools, mud therapy is not recommended. Please contact your general practitioner in case of doubt.
GOLF
  • How many holes has the golf course?
    It has 9 holes.

  • What is a driving range? Have you got it? What is its price?
    Yes we have a driving range with indoor and outdoor stations, putting green and pitching green. It cost 10 € per day.

  • What are the opening hours?
    Golf course opening hours correspond to those of the office: 8.30 AM 7.30 PM during summer e 9.00 AM 5 PM during winter.

  • What is the daily price of the green fee?
    It depends on the year period: OFF-SEASON: from Jan-1st to Mar-3rd; from Jan-1st to Aug-31st; from Nov-2nd to Dec-31st € 30,00(working)/€ 35,00 (public holiday); HIGH SEASON: from Mar-16th to May.31st; from Sep-1st to Nov-1st € 35,00(working)/ € 40,00(publuic holiday).

  • Are there any discounts for children? Up to what age?
    There is an under 18 junior rate: OFF-SEASON: from Jan-1st to Mar-3rd; from Jan-1st to Aug-31st; from Nov-2nd to Dec-31st; Working day: € 18,00 x 9 holes; € 23,00 x 18 holes. Public holiday: € 23,00 x 9 holes; € 28,00 x 18 holes. HIGH SEASON from Mar-16th to May.31st; from Sep-1st to Nov-1st; Working day: € 20,00 x 9 holes; € 25,00 x 18 holes. Public holiday: € 25,00 x 9 holes; € 30,00 x 18 holes.

  • Is there a preferential rate to the green fee for hotel's guests?

  • Are there pricing facilities for hotel's guests on nearby golf clubs?

  • What's the price of a ball coin?
    The ball coin costs 2 € and includes 30 balls.

  • What's the price of an individual class? How long is it?
    It costs 60 € for a hour and 30 € for half a hour.

  • Can I rent the equipment? At what price?
    Yes, it is possible to rent a golf bag for 10 €/day.

  • Do I have to be registered to FIG – Italian Golf Federation- in order to play golf?
    Beginner course does not require a FIG card.

  • Can I play without being neither registered nor member?
    In order to play you must be registered.

  • Will there be a catering service?
    At Club House there is a bar and a restaurant.

  • Do you have a golf cart? What is its daily cost?
    Golf Cart are available at 20 €/day for 9 holes and 30 €/day for 18 holes.

  • How many classes do I have to attend in order to learn to play golf?
    It is a personal matter, normally we suggest at least 10 hours of class.

  • Is there a dress code?
    Please do not wear t-shirts, blue jeans or gym suits. We suggest a comfortable outfit such as polo shirt with cotton pants. You are required to wear golf shoes.

  • At what age can a child play golf?
    Children from 6 years of age are admitted to the course.

  • Can I go to the driving range alone?
    Beginners are not allowed to practice alone.

  • What do I have to do in order to obtain handicap?
    To obtain handicap you will need a certification from the golf instructor and to pass a theoretical knowledge examination.

  • From what age can I start playing? Are there any limits?
    You can start from 6 years of age and there are no other limits.

  • Is there a dressing room?
    The club has men's and women's room.

  • I have never played; can I access the course? 
    Those who have never played are not allowed to the course.

  • Can my family access the course even if they don't play?
    It will be at reception's discretion to grant the access to non players in order to avoid overcrowding, which may be cause of disturbance or delays.

BIKE
  • Do you have bicycles for your guests? What kind and at what cost?
    Yes, subject to availability, the resort has two type of bicycles: 10 free of charge city bikes and 8 professional carbon racing bikes MTB at 20€/day rental cost for the full day; 15€ for the half day.

  • Do you have bicycles with children seats? Up to what age? At what cost?
    No, children's seat are not available.

  • Do you have a bicycle storage? Is there a fee?
    The Resort has a free of charge bicycle storage.

  • Do you have a workshop?
    Yes, the Resort has a fully equipped worksop.

  • Do you have a washing area?
    Yes, the Resort has a washing area available to our guests.

  • Are there any recommended bikes route?
    Yes, for maps and details please refer to the reception or to our Local Expert.

  • Are there MTB routes?
    Yes, for maps and details please refer to the reception or to our Local Expert.

  • Is there a workshop for small repairs? 
    Yes, the Resort has a workshop for small repairs.

  • Are there replacement bikes in case of break up?
    Yes, subject to availability, we can replace your bike without oveercharge.

  • Are there any rescue veichles for harder routes? 
    No, the Resort does not have any rescue veichle.

  • Is there a laundry service? At what cost?
    Yes. Cost are reported in the price lists located in every room..

  • Is there a shoe dry cleaning service in case it rains?
    No, we do not offer the shoe dry cleaning service.

  • Do you have any agreements with local bicycles shops?

TENNIS
  • How many tennis courts are there?
    The Resort has 5 tennis courts.

  • What is its opening hours?
    From April 1st to September 30 the tennis courts are open from 9 AM to 9 PM.

  • Do I have to book the court? What are the costs?
    Yes, you are required to book the court . It costs 20 €/hr for the single and 28 €/hr for the double.

  • Am I required to wear a particular outfit? Can it be rented? At what cost?
    You are required to wear only the tennis shoe. You can rent the racket with the balls at 5 €. 

  • Do you organize tennis class?
    The resort offers individual tennis classes due reservation.  The reservation serves to obtain an evaluation based on player level, class duration etc.

  • Do I have to be a member of FIT in order to play?
    No, it is not necessary.

  • From what age is it possible to access the courts?
    There is not an age limit. The court's access is on the instructor discretion. Children from 5 years of age can access if accompanied by a parent.

HOW TO REACH US
  • How can I reach the Hotel from the station?
    The Battaglia Terme station is about 5 minutes on foot from the hotel.

  • What is the nearest airport? 
    The nearest airport is the Marco Polo in Venice, which is 60 km from the hotel.

  • How can I reach the resort from the highway?
    You will have to take the "Terme Euganee" exit on the Bologna Padova highway.

  • How far is the nearest bus stop?
    The nearest bus stop is 1,5 km from the hotel.

  • How far is town centre?
    It Takes 5 minutes by car to reach Galzignano's centre and 20 minutes  to reach Padua's centre.

  • Is it possible to organize a private transfer to the airport or to the station? What is its cost?
    The hotel offers a private transfer to and from the staition. Costs depend on number of people and time of the day. The service must be payed directly to the bus driver.

  • What are the places of major interest ner the hotel?
    The hotel is immersed in a park located in the Colli Euganei. There are many attractions in the nearby: Ville Venete, Padova, Venezia, Vicenza e Verona. 

  • Is it possible to rent a car or a scooter?
    Yes, It is possible to rent a car or a scooter. For further information please contact our reservation office at 049 919 5665.

  • What is included in the room rate?
    The base rate includes overnight stay, buffet breakfast, interner connection, wellness center, spa and pools access, unattended outdoor parking. 

  • Will there be a tourist tax? What is its daily cost?
    Yes, there will be a 1,15 €/night tourist tax for the first five nights. Children stay for free up to 14 years of age.

  • Which credit card do you accet?
    The hotel accepts the principal international credit card: American Express, Visa, Mastercard.

  • From what age do the children have to pay?
